I bought one for my 70yr old father before he went on a trip to Europe for 3 weeks. He is NOT a techie at all and needed an EASY point-n-shoot with nothing to do other than point-n-shoot that he could fit in his shirt pocket…. He took nearly 300 pictures which is probably about 250 more than I would have expected. He loved the ease of use and the quality is spectacular. The IS feature was great as well for him given the age. Facial feature recognitiion is also a nice feature. At $190 this is a definite buy if you’re looking for a camera.

Great camera. fast response when turned on, good flash recovery and amazing pictures for such a compact camera. Good video performance as well. recently shot 30 mins of kids concert from dark auditorium and came up with great video and audio. Put a 8Gb card in as well so great capacity.
